In their own words:

“If I didn’t have Baytree, I’d be lost. I’d still be that same angry kid. Baytree’s never given up on me.”

“I don’t know what I would do without Baytree. I can now help my children read which I couldn’t do before. They’ve helped me build up my confidence skills.”

Why monthly donations are important

Our regular givers are a vital part of Baytree.

Knowing that support is coming in every month means we can plan further ahead than a single donation allows, funding ongoing programmes, courses and support rather than just one-off sessions.

Whether it’s £5 or £85 a month, you’re helping us be there for women and girls for as long as they need us.

Join our community of monthly donors

When you give monthly, you’re not just donating, you’re joining Side by Side: Baytree’s community of people who show up for women and girls, month after month.

Why they give every month

Meet some of the people already part of our Side by Side community.

"I learnt about Baytree through my daughter, and the work they do for women and girls really matters to me. As a parent, I want my daughter to grow up in a world where she feels safe, supported and able to be herself. Baytree is helping to create that kind of world, and it’s one I want to support and be part of."
Giving monthly since 2026
"I volunteered at Baytree for two years, helping with the youth literacy and creative writing club. I wanted to give something back to my community, particularly by supporting women and girls, and volunteering at Baytree gave me the chance to do that. I enjoyed my time there so much and really believed in the work they were doing, that I decided to start giving monthly while I was volunteering."
Giving monthly since 2022
"I found out about Baytree through the volunteering scheme at my uni, and wanted to get involved in giving my time to supporting women and girls. After volunteering as a Youth Mentor, I wanted to keep giving my support to the amazing work Baytree does."

Donations FAQ

If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid lets us claim an extra 25p from the government for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you. So a £20 donation becomes £25. You just need to have paid enough Income or Capital Gains Tax in that year to cover the amount we claim, and tick the box on the donation form.

We ask for a minimum contribution of £2, because card processing fees would eat too much of anything smaller. Beyond that, give whatever feels right. Small regular gifts add up to a great deal.

Yes. Donations are processed securely through Beacon, our donation platform. Your card details are handled directly by them and are never stored by Baytree.

Your donation is unrestricted, which means we can put it wherever the need is greatest. That might be funding a mentoring session, running an English class, or simply keeping our doors open. Unlike a lot of grant funding, it lets us respond to what the women and girls in front of us actually need.

Of course, and there’s no awkward conversation. Just email us at ruby@baytreecentre.org.uk and we’ll sort it out, or you can amend it directly with your bank. We’d never want anyone giving more than feels comfortable.

Plenty of ways. You could fundraise for us, volunteer your time, leave a gift in your will, or explore a partnership. Sharing our work with someone who might not know us yet makes a real difference too.
