‘Brains and Babies: The Future of Work’ talk in aid of Baytree

Anna Johnson has been a PEACH mentor for two years. When she had her first baby (Oscar) in June 2016, she found that she missed being able to attend public lectures and feeling part of an intellectual community. So, on 23 June this year, she ran an event specifically aimed at parents and carers, where they could take part in interesting conversations in a baby-friendly environment. Dr Helen Hester from the University of West London spoke about The Future of Work, and the event was kindly hosted by the White Bear Theatre Pub in Kennington. The event was a sold-out success and the proceeds were donated to Baytree. If you would like to know more about the organisation behind the event, Mindr, which began in New York, please check out www.mindrglobal.com and stay tuned for the details of the next London Mindr event.

Thanks so much Anna!
