We’re currently recruiting a youth worker and partnerships coordinator to support the growth of the BYB! Building Young Brixton (BYB), which Baytree is part of, is a Lambeth based partnership of 6 local youth, community and education specialists, working together to provide a multifaceted service for young people affected by social and financial disadvantages, risk of exclusion and gang involvement across Brixton Town Centre Wards.

Delivering place-based interventions and projects, we support young people to improve outcomes in 6 areas, providing them with key building blocks to support them to become successful, confident and civically engaged individuals: developing social and emotional capabilities; improving engagement in education; preparing for employment and careers; supporting mental well-being; developing positive relationships; increasing civic participation.

These roles will be an excellent opportunity to contribute to ensuring BYB’s innovative approach to youth provision meets its aims of providing the highest quality provision and continually striving to improve and expand its services as defined by the young people. If you think you’re right for either of these roles please apply by 11.30pm on Friday 28th December. You can find more information about the roles here.
