Champions For Children: From NOW until midday Tuesday 15th June your donations to Baytree will be DOUBLED!

Today marks the beginning of our summer match-funding campaign with the Childhood Trust and the Big Give, where for just one week your donations to Baytree will be DOUBLED! We are hoping to raise £5,000 to give our girls the wonderful summer they deserve! After the challenges of the past year in lockdown, we want to give our girls the best summer yet, opportunities to connect with others, learn new skills, gain new experiences, keep active, creative and have some fun.

The pandemic has had a profound impact on many Lambeth families and young people. Under lockdown measures, incidence of mental health issues were 5x higher among disadvantaged children in London (82%) compared to children across England (16%) (Childhood Trust). Research shows that a person-centered, holistic approach is key to long-term recovery and Baytree provides a safe and supportive space for this to take place. We rely on your donations to make it happen.

Your donations will enable us to run engaging summer activities for our girls, providing them with many positive childhood and adolescent experiences. Activities will also include key life skills, such as money management, as well as work experience opportunities and employment workshops to make up for vital milestones and opportunities missed during the pandemic.

If you can, please help us reach our target by donating now!

Thank you so much for your generous support, it makes a great difference to many girls.
