End of year award ceremony at Baytree!

The summer holidays are officially here and with them came our annual end of year award ceremony last Tuesday 17th July! The awards recognised the girls who have worked extremely hard over the past year and who have made outstanding contributions to the Baytree community. While every girl has shown great enthusiasm and commitment while at Baytree, by presenting awards we hope to inspire the girls to continue to work hard, care for others and to respect their environment.

The wonderful afternoon began with the awards ceremony and what a turn out we had! With standing room only, Caroline, our CEO, presented the girls with their awards in front of their peers, mentors and family. Awards such as, ‘The award for the girl who has worked hardest towards discovering their purpose’ and ‘The award for the girl who has shown true compassion and kindness through her actions’, were presented to the delight of the audience.

Following the awards ceremony, the girls were taken downstairs where they were able to indulge in delicious food and drink before receiving presents. Once all the food had been eaten, to finish off the afternoon, games were run in the gym, which included lots of laughter, squealing and excitement!

Well done to all the girls who attended Baytree for yet another wonderful year! A big thank you to everyone who works tirelessly to make Baytree the thriving community it is; our volunteers, staff and families. We cannot wait to see you all again in September for what will surely be another exciting and successful year here at the Baytree Centre!
