Can you believe it’s already June! Everyone here at Baytree is very much enjoying the summer weather after what felt like a really long winter, and we all know what this lovely season brings…The Summer Give! Baytree is participating for another year in The Summer Give which means when you donate to Baytree between 11th June from 12pm until the 15th June, your contribution will be DOUBLED!
This year, amongst many other things we are planning on taking the girls to Brockwell Greenhouses, to learn about taking care of their environment, teaming up with Battersea Cats and Dogs Home to deliver a programme on responsible ownership, a scavenger hunt in Crystal Palace park, a trip to Kensington Palace and many more! This year we have over 60 young women and girls who will participate in the engaging summer activities and the chance broaden their horizons. We ensure that our GEMS Youth provision is embedded in all the activities we do which is to…Grow, Enjoy, Move and Study. This allows us to create a varied programme that has something for everyone and encourages young people to become well-rounded adults and that they don’t spend their summer stuck at home.
Your donations will enable girls who come to Baytree to participate in these trips, workshops, and activities over the summer. Your help will provide invaluable support for the girls to engage with the community, develop skills and strengthen their character. Help us reach our target of £2500 and ensure that the girls we support will have a wonderful summer holiday with Baytree.
