Baytree Passes Matrix Assessment with Flying Colours!

In May we were paid a visit by Matrix, a standards body that assesses and measures the information, advice and guidance (IAG) services of organisations who support individuals in their personal and career progression. We choose to undergo this assessment regularly to ensure a quality-assured service provision across all our programmes. This was our third Matrix assessment over ten years,  and we are glad to announce that our report came back with extremely positive findings.

We have been commended for our “expertise, integrity and confidence” in our overarching approach to our services. As a result of our strong leadership, one of our key strengths as identified by Matrix, we have a clear direction of forward progression coupled with “an ability to embrace change”. Matrix were complementary towards how we shape our services around the individual and how our desire to understand the needs of our clients make for “effective and impactful” IAG services. They took notice of how our IAG delivery goes above and beyond by raising aspirations in a motivational and inspiring manner. Our Character Education programme, our assessor said, has been valuable in cementing a set of core virtues throughout our organisation and this is reflected not only in the successes of our user base but in the competence of our workforce too. Matrix recognised the commitment of our skilled volunteers who work as one with our staff to ensure that our clients receive “bespoke support”.

Our evaluation processes was also praised, which along with our flexibility and open attitude towards change, help us deliver the “highest quality service” across all our programmes.

We couldn’t be more delighted with this outcome especially and are excited to have been put forward by Matrix for a Centre of Excellence award. Watch this space for further news on that!
