As we welcome the New Year, it’s the perfect time to set intentions and visualise the future we want to create. At Baytree, we embrace this season of renewal and reflection as an opportunity to inspire personal growth and empower young women to reach their fullest potential. 🌱
During our Christmas celebrations, the girls in our Youth Service took part in a vision boarding activity—a powerful and creative way to clarify their goals and visualise their paths to success. As we considered how we wanted to progress in the new year, we also celebrated the core values that shape our identities.
In addition to their personal goals of self-improvement, such as developing their English language skills, creating healthier habits, reading more, and living sustainably, many of the girls in our INTO School programme reflected on the importance of their core values. Family, cultural heritage, and traditions like respecting elders were key themes. We continue to support young migrant women as they navigate new lives in the UK, empowering them to blend their new surroundings with the cultures and traditions of their home countries.
The girls at Baytree are looking forward to a year filled with academic success, strong friendships, and the opportunity to develop new skills and hobbies. Our mentorship and personal growth programmes, co-produced with our service users, are tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring they have the tools to thrive academically and socially while building resilience.
