The pandemic has had a profound impact on many Lambeth families and young people. Under lockdown measures, incidence of mental health issues were 5x higher among disadvantaged children in London (82%) compared to children across England (16%) (Childhood Trust).
Research shows that a person-centred, holistic approach is key to long-term recovery and Baytree provides a safe and supportive space for this to take place. We rely on your donations to make it happen, which is why we are so pleased to announce that…
From Tuesday 8th to Tuesday 15th June all your donations to Baytree will be DOUBLED!
This is thanks to the Childhood Trust and the Big Give’s summer match-funding campaign, which we are delighted to be taking part in again. #ChampionsForChildren
Any amount donated to us during this week will be doubled, meaning your money goes further and helps empower more women and girls.
Your donations will enable us to run engaging summer activities for our girls, providing them with many positive childhood and adolescent experiences. Activities will also include key life skills, such as money management, as well as industry insight days and employability opportunities to make up for vital milestones and opportunities missed during the pandemic.
Please set a reminder in your diaries and help us raise £5,000 in just one week!
Thank you so much for your continued support, and keep an eye out for our next blog post with the donation link!
