Into School’s trip to the Tate Modern and South Bank

This week our Into School girls went on a trip to the Tate Modern. The Tate Modern is a large gallery on the South Bank with a collection of British, international, modern and contemporary art.

Taking the girls to an art gallery is a great way to explore a topic in depth without the need for extensive language skills and at the same time a great approach to improving their vocabulary.

After visiting the exhibition the girls strolled along the South Bank, had a picnic on the grass and enjoyed the sun as well as each others company. A vast amount of selfies were taken – It was great to see them all having such fun together and a pleasure to witness such a strong bond amongst the girls, transcending all cultural and language barriers.

We are looking forward to many more trips to come!
